The Peril of Opposing the Rosary and the Glories of Saying it Daily
St. Louis de Montfort, in his Secret of the Rosary, recounts the story of the establishment of the Confraternity of the Rosary in Cologne. There, the venerable Fr. James Sprenger had been trying to establish the confraternity, but he met opposition from local priests.
St. Bonaventure says in his "Psalter" that whoever neglects our Lady will die in his sins. What, then, must be the punishment in store for those who turn people away from devotion to her?
While St. Dominic was preaching the Rosary in Carcassone, a heretic made fun of his miracles and the fifteen mysteries of the Rosary, and this prevented other heretics from being converted. As a punishment God allowed fifteen thousand devils to enter the man's body.
His parents took him to Father Dominic to be delivered from the evil spirits. He started to pray and he begged everyone who was there to say the Rosary out loud with him, and at each Hail Mary our Lady drove a hundred devils out of the man, and they came out in the form of red-hot coals.
After he had been delivered, he abjured his former errors, was converted and joined the Rosary Confraternity. Several of his associates did the same, having been greatly moved by his punishment and by the power of the Rosary.
The venerable Fr. James Sprenger and the religious of his order were zealously working to re-establish devotion to the Rosary and its Confraternity in the city of Cologne. Unfortunately, two priests who were famous for their preaching ability were jealous of the great influence they were exerting through preaching the Rosary. These two Fathers spoke against this devotion whenever they had a chance, and as they were very eloquent and had a great reputation, they persuaded many people not to join the Confraternity.
One of them, the better to achieve his wicked end, wrote a special sermon against the Rosary and planned to give it the following Sunday. But when the time came for the sermon he did not appear and, after a certain amount of waiting, someone went to fetch him. He was found to be dead, and he had evidently died without anyone to help him.
After persuading himself that this death was due to natural causes, the other priest decided to carry out his friend's plan and give a similar sermon on another day, hoping to put an end to the Confraternity of the Rosary. However, when the day came for him to preach and it was time to give the sermon, God punished him by striking him down with paralysis which deprived him of the use of his limbs and of his power of speech.
At last he admitted his fault and that of his friend and in his heart he silently besought our Lady to help him. He promised that if only she would cure him, he would preach the Rosary with as much zeal as that with which he had formerly fought against it. For this end he implored her to restore his health and his speech, which she did, and finding himself instantaneously cured he rose up like another Saul, a persecutor turned defender of the holy Rosary. He publicly acknowledged his former error and ever afterwards preached the wonders of the Rosary with great zeal and eloquence.
BENEFITS CONFERRED ON THOSE DEVOTED TO THE ROSARY
To encourage you still more in this devotion practiced by so many holy people, I should like to add that the
Rosary recited with the meditation of the mysteries brings about the following marvelous results:
- It gradually brings us a perfect knowledge of Jesus Christ;
- It purifies our souls from sin;
- It gives us victory over all our enemies;
- It makes the practice of virtue easy;
- It sets us on fire with the love of our Lord;
- It enriches us with graces and merits; and,
- It supplies us with what is needed to pay all our debts to God and to our fellow-men, and finally, it obtains all kinds of graces from God.
Blessed Alan de la Roche, who was so deeply devoted to the Blessed Virgin, had many revelations from her, and we know that he confirmed the truth of these revelations by a solemn oath. Three of them stand out with special emphasis: the first, that if people fail to say the Hail Mary, which has saved the world, out of carelessness, or because they are lukewarm, or because they hate it, this is an indication that they will probably be condemned to eternal punishment.
The second truth is that those who love this divine salutation bear the very special stamp of predestination.
The third is that those to whom God has given this favour of loving our Lady and of serving her out of love must take very great care to continue to love and serve her until the time when she shall have had them placed in heaven by her Son in the degree of glory which they have earned (Blessed Alan)
Heretics, all of whom are children of the devil and who clearly bear the sign of God's reprobation, have a horror of the Hail Mary. They still say the Our Father, but never the Hail Mary; they would rather carry a poisonous snake about them than a rosary.
WHAT IS IN IT FOR YOU
Dear reader, if you practice and preach this devotion, you will learn more, by your own experience, than from spiritual books, and you will have the happiness of being rewarded by our Lady in accordance with the promises she made to St. Dominic, to Blessed Alan de la Roche, and to those who encourage this devotion which is so dear to her. For the Rosary teaches people about the virtues of Jesus and Mary, and leads them to mental prayer, to the imitation of Jesus Christ, to the frequentation of the sacraments, the practice of genuine virtue and of all kinds of good works. It also helps us to gain many wonderful indulgences, which people are unaware of because those who preach this devotion hardly ever mention them and content themselves with giving a popular sermon on the Rosary which very often produces admiration but not instruction.
St. Louis de Montfort tells us that he says, in company with Blessed Alan de la Roche, that the Rosary is a source and a store-house of countless blessings. The Rosary provides these benefits:
- Sinners obtain pardon;
- Those who thirst are refreshed;
- Those who are fettered are set free;
- Those who weep find joy;
- Those who are tempted find peace;
- Those in need find help;
- Religious are reformed;
- The ignorant are instructed;
- The living learn to resist spiritual decline; and,
- The dead have their pains eased by suffrages.
Our Lady once said to Blessed Alan, "I want those who are devoted to my Rosary to have my Son's grace and blessing during their lifetime, at death and after their death. I want them to be freed from all slavery so that they will be like kings, with crowns on their heads, sceptres in their hands and to reign in eternal glory. Amen.

Shunning Idols is Trespass and Theft? What would you do? BFP 15.5

Tuesday Oct 22, 2019
I remember being in a parking lot, walking with a shpping bag in my hand one time. Right in front of me, a woman fell to the ground. I watched, and I didn't know what to do.
It's like that sometimes, where no matter our training, seeing it happen in front of us can shock us, and cause us to pause.
On the heels of news yesterday that two men entered the Church where the graven images of the "earth goddess" (some call Pachamama) idole were, took the idols, and threw them into the Tiber River. People are cheering, rightfully so.
We discuss a time when, on the Feast of St, John Chrysostom, Pope Benedict spoke in Paris, and his homily focused on St. Paul the Apostle's mention in 1 Corinthians to "shun the idols". Pope Benedict further elaborated on this by citing St. John Chrysostom.
In 405 A.D., St. John Chrysostom, doctor of the Church, sent grey clad monks armed with clubs and weapons out into the cities of Palestine to destroy all idols.
Vatican II, and the teaching of the Church, as found in Fr. John Hardon's Modern Catholic Dictionary, and Hardon's Catechism of the Catholic Church, explain that idolotry is a grave sin. It is always a transgression of the 1st Commendment.
Even if we do not believe in the idol ourselves, it is still a mortal sin to show worship to the idol. St. George was killed for refusing to this very thing.
Nobody is being threatened with death here. Yet, two young men that understand that the people bowing and worshipping the wooden demon idols in the Vatican Gardens and later in the churches themselves is a grave transgression of the first commandment, are being threatened with civil action by the Vatican.
In the past, it was the government threatening Christians. Today, it is the Vatican itself.
It's not right to call them Cristeros. They may very well be grey monks, like Chrysostom's men, though.
These poor men don't have the authority of a bishop. Rather they had to act on conscience, when bishops appear to be defending the idolatry, and threaten the faithful men.
There is some possibility that this was staged as part of the "conflict" drama managed in Delphi Technique / Consensus engineering tactics frequently employed by think tanks, and popular in United Nations implementations.
Nevertheless, this situation is more like Fr. Paul Kalchick, who had the idols in his parish of which he was pastor be burned. Cupich threatened him.
What would you do if you were there? Would you freeze in shock? Would you have done something?
We aren't at the point of the Cristeros yet... but what would you do if this happens in front of you as it has for these men?
Are you ready?

History Rhymes: The Real Dr. Seuss of the Amazon Synod, Ceilings Collapsing, and Pagan Rites to Open Synods
Our Lady of Fatima gave us the blueprint we can see when she said, “if men don’t repent, Russia will spread her errors through the world… but in the end my Immaculate Heart will triumph”
Last year, we saw the Youth Synod open with Pope Francis holding an odd staff that many identified as a witch’s stang. The stand is a staff of sorts used by pagans to cast spells and direct “energy”. A wiccan coven in Italy had made the staff for him and two young women presented it to him. Not too much earlier, reports of a roof collapsing in a Roman church had spread. (we reported on the roof collapse here: https://bellarmineforum.org/2018/09/16/akita-the-battle-line-of-the-homosexual-contagion-is-communion-in-the-hand/) That church was the titular church of Cardinal Coccopalmerio.
This year, a pagan ritual was conducted in the Vatican gardens. It featured wooden sculptures of two pregnant women. Earlier in the same day, The Messenger in Italy reported that people had to be evacuated from a portion of St. Peter’s because ceiling fragments were falling to the floor.
But, like the Cat in the Hat, everything got cleaned up and Thing 1 and Thing 2 reported in the news that those were just “small fragments” and Vatican news just omitted the mention of the woman shaman’s spirit circle. Members of the Spadaro-spin cycle report that the two pregnant statues represent the Visitation and are supposed to be Mary at Elizabeth, the two pregnant women.
Sure.
When Dr. Suess was interviewed later in his life about The Cat in the Hat, he described the book as “a revolt again authority, but it is ameliorated by the fact that the Cat cleans up everything at the end.” For that Dr. suess, the end justifies the means and as long as no one saw it, no harm was done. The end of the book was the Mother’s return home. We are supposed to believe it was all OK.
Mary, our Blessed Mother, said, “in the end, my immaculate heart will triumph”. So it appears the Cat in the Hat is loose in the Vatican. Apparently, Thing 1 and Thing 2 have been loosed and all havoc is wrought. Cardinal Burke must be the goldfish in our story though. Warning us that this isn’t a good idea, but nobody is listening to him. Apparently, the children think the Blessed Mother is away and the goldfish is crazy so they are going to play with Thing 1 and Thing 2. She warned about this, too.
The revolution was intentional by Dr. Suess. He said that his book, The Cat in the Hat’s revolution against authority, “is revolutionary in that it goes as far as [Kerensky] and then stops. It doesn’t go quite as far as Lenin.”
Alexander Kerensky was a highly regarded Russian lawyer who led a revolution in the Petrograd region that broke away from the Tsar. He had openly joined the freemasons and advocated against monarchy. But like all useful idiots, once Lenin’s bloody October led the real Bolshevik revolt, Kerensky became an exile and had to flee back to Paris to be in asylum under the care of the Grand Orient Lodge of Paris.
For some reason, Dr. Suess thought that Kerensky was a good alternative to the all out bloody killing of Lenin. Some revolutionaries have limits and morals, it seems.
Kerensky used the plight of the poor Russian peoples as a weapon to end the Tsar.
The Cat in the Hat used the condition of the children as a weapon against the order of the house and the expectations of the Mother.
Perhaps that is the idea of these revolutionaries in the Vatican gardens: “it goes as far as indigenous paganism, but it doesn’t go as far as sacrificing a child…”
There is a real actual Dr. Seuss of the Amazon Synod. His name is Paolo Seuss and he is a priest and professor in South America. You might recall him as the priest that gave a defiant speech to Pope Benedict during Benedict’s visit to Latin America. Maybe you don’t remember that… it only appeared as a soft Kerensky-type revolution at that time. Just the articulated speech of a liberation theologist positing some anti-authority rhetoric, the way Kerensky was the articulate lawyer in the Parliament speaking against the monarchy.
Poalo likes Karl Marx, after all. he tweets pictures of him. See Marx is better than Lenin, right? Marx just wrote poems about his pact with the devil and argued in favor of the revolution. Lenin actually killed people for it.
In 2014, Paolo Seuss met with Pope Francis. He brought Bishop Erwin Kräutler with him. Some reports say the Kräutler brought Seuss with him. I like that way better — the Cat in the Hat came along with the child bishop. We spoke about Bishop Kräutler the other day. Seuss convinced Pope Francis that we needed a synod in the Amazon to help the indigenous tribes fight the power of the mean Colonists.
Pope Francis agreed.
In May of 2014, Bishop Kräutler was interviewed in Die Presse (https://www.diepresse.com/3806271/bischof-krautler-zolibat-nicht-pflicht-fur-eucharistie) about this meeting with Pope Francis. In it, he explained that Pope Francis was way better than Pope Benedict. Key quotes of Kräutler include:
- celibacy is not obligatory for celebrating the Eucharist
- in regards to making more people able to celebrate Mass (women and married priests), described as “access”, Kräutler reported: “Pope [Francis] is very open. He will not have a solution overnight, but he has literally told me: the bishops, the regional bishops’ conferences should make courageous, courageous proposals.”
- In regards to “loosen the rules of access for the priesthood”: Kräutler said: “Celibacy means that a man or woman is committed to living helplessly. One proposal would be to decouple celibacy of Eucharistic celebration”
- “I hope [Francis will implement]. … That process was not allowed so far. Pope Benedict said we pray for priestly vocations. This pope is different. HE wants to start a process.” There are now “open doors.”
- On the idea that Francis said the door is closed, Kräutler “As long as the door is there… the door is not walled up. I do not think that the ordination of women comes under this Pope.”
- Kräutler says the door to women ordination should be opened.
- On liberation theology, he said “people say it is Marxist. Liberation theology is biblical.”
Funny that the real Dr. Poalo Seuss would tweet images of Marx, right?
Seuss also laments that the Church has forced a “European face” in the Amazon, and it is he who has been speaking of the “Amazonian face”
These two wish to preserve indigenous life, including the pagan rites, child sacrifices and cannibalism. Kräutler is quoted as having said, “I have never in my life baptized an indigenous, and I also do not have the intention of doing so.”
Seuss, also a “liberation theologist” and professor, says things like “indigenous ministry is not about conversions” and “we do not have a right to proselytize, to belittle the religion of the other.”
It’s almost as if they think the indigenous people do not deserve to know the one true God Who loved them so much that He became man and died for them. Isn’t that good news for everyone?
But Seuss is a revolutionary. Besides praises of Karl Marx on his twitter, he exclaimed in 2014, “the indigenous are the revolutionary agents in South America.”
Think he was being poetic? Try this elaboration he made, “In the end, we want to build a new society, because this capitalist society, this killing system does not work… We must change society. Who are we going to do it with? With Amazon peoples, with indigenous people, with young people.”
Comrades, do you see the revolution yet?
Seuss understands that he can’t get full on Lenin, though. His revolution must be gradual. As far as women priests, he’s practical, like Kerensky: “Unfortunately, because of the unity of the Church, it will be difficult at this time to discuss the priesthood of women. In the perspective of gradual transformation, what could be discussed now would be the female diaconate.”
Like Kerensky and the Cat in the Hat, They are using the indigenous peoples as a weapon against the order of the house and the expectations of the Mother.
This is an error of Russia, as our Mother warned us.
You see, Madame Blavatsky in Russia began the Theosophy Society, and religion that seeks to restore the times before the Great flood and restore the “natural wisdom”. Blavatsky spent tomes comparing the gods and goddesses of pagan societies around the world. I’ve reported on her successor Alice Bailey’s stated intentions to reveal the demonic order and take down the imperialist order of Christianity.
Recently Pope Francis said all nations should follow the UN and obey it. Bailey was the one that implemented the U.N. with the Lucifer Trust and a goal to subvert the order of God by restoring the indigenous pagan practices of “ancient wisdom.”
You see now that this revolution in the Amazon is inspired by those errors come out of Russia, don’t you? Is it any better that they are more like Kerensky, and less like Lenin?
As the Cat in the Hat progressed, the mess grew and grew. The goldfish warned them. But we would be stupid to believe the cries of people like Rich Raho and Austin Ivereigh. The indigenous peoples are not unified in their revolution and many recognize that the revolutionaries are harming them.
The indigenous peoples do not appreciate the revolution of Dr. Poalo Suess and friends however. At least one Chief, Chief Raoni gave warning to the Synod. He says that some indigenous tribes still practice infanticide and cannibalism. and he explained they are encouraged to do so by the liberation theologists. Pagan practices include the requirement that a baby born handicapped must be eaten. The Liberation Theologists, like our Dr. Poalo Seuss would never see to convert the indigenous. He respects their religion after all.
Worse, the Chief accused the liberation theologists of “indoctrinating the Indians to steal, to kill farmer’s cattle, to hate the white man who wasn’t a priest, to invade private property, to not accept electric power, roads, armies, and even to hate their own relatives.”
The Chief nails it: “There are people who still lament why and how their own brother, father and brother-in-law became their enemy. Dividing peoples is a typically Satanic work; therefore, these men and women cannot be the fruit of God.”
There are only two standards. That of Christ, and that of Satan. If Liberation Theologists like Dr. Seuss and Bishop Kräutler will not pass along Divine Revelation, and encourage the divisions and crime elaborated by Chief Raoni, I can assure you they are not following the Standard of Christ.
Chief Raoni, any the way, is a big environmentalist.
If these people are fighting for revolution, and that revolution is the
The other day, I spoke about the strange fascination of some moderns with the Amazonians. I even mentioned that the Nazis had plays “Nacht der Amazonen” featuring bare breasted women dancing for the emancipation of women. The Amazonians worshipped Artemis. The grandest temple of Artemis was at Ephesus, and this was the same temple that gave St. Paul so much trouble when he preached there. Another temple to Artemis was on Patmos - right at the revelation of the Apocalypse.
Artemis was called Diana by the Romans. She was the daughter of Zeus, who asked Zeus that she be allowed to remain a virgin. She was the great hunter, shot arrows, and had numerous encounters of killing. She was the pagan patroness of the pregnant. She supposedly assisted women to ease the pains of labor. She was also the moon goddess. Images of Artemis depot her with a lunate crown. Her in the pagan lunar cycle was the 6th day, in lunar phases, that is a small crescent moon. In one account of Artemis, she interceded to stop the sacrifice of Imigenia. As Imigenia was on the alter to be killed, Artemis stopped the killing and substituted a deer in her place. For those mixed up a little, this rhymes with the story of Abraham in some ways. Imigenia was reared by Artemis, who later renamed her Hecate, and she became the pagan spirit goddess of night and magic spells.
Artemis wore the crescent moon as a crown on her head.
I bring all this up because the pagan ritual in the Vatican gardens featured idols of pregnant women so it made me think of the Amazonian connection to Artemis, and Artemis’s connection to apocalypse.
Making women priests would make women into Abraham, right? It would be replacing of Mother Mary by a goddess. It would be putting an “Amazonian Face” on the Church, would it not?
The revolution is underway right in front of us. But, Dr. Paolo Seuss is wrong to think that Mother is away so the cats may play.
Our Lady of Guadalupe is a miraculous image with world renown. You may have heard before that the symbols and posture of Our Lady in that image spoke to the pagan indigenous peoples and proselytized them about the true God.
You see, Our Lady of Guadalupe stands on the crescent moon. Unlike Artemis who is under the Moon, Mary is over it, more powerful than it. And Our Lady of Guadalupe is pregnant. She is something greater than Artemis.
Pray our Rosary. Our Lady of Guadalupe, pray for us! Our Lady of Fatima, pray for us!

The 4 Principal Ways Your Guardian Angels Helps You and How to Get It - BFP 15.3
Wednesday Oct 02, 2019
Wednesday Oct 02, 2019
Today is the feast of the guardian angels.
At the resurrection, Mary rushed to the tomb. Angels were there. They asked, “why do you seek the living among the dead? He is risen”
Prayer to Our Guardian Angel.
Holy angel, guardian mine,
Given me by love divine ;
Day and night watch over me,
From harm, from sin, let me be free.
By a pious life I fain
Would eternal joys attain.
Our Lady, queen of the angels, pray for us.
Every one has a special guardian angel, who watches over him all through his life. The dignity of the angels given to us depends on the dignity of the persons to whom they are assigned. Ordinary Christians have one of the lower orders of angels; priests, bishops, kings, etc., have nobler spirits to guard them. Cities, countries, parishes, religious houses, have each their guardian angel.
Our guardian angels help us in the following ways:
- They put good thoughts into our minds, and move our will to what is good.
- They offer our prayers and our good works to God.
- "In all the benefits we receive from God," says St. Thomas, " our guardian angel takes part, because he helps in obtaining them for us."
- They protect us in danger.
- They often reveal to men the will of God.
- If we desire the protection of the holy angels, we must try and imitate them by a holy life; we must also honor them, and often invoke their aid.
Experience teaches us that innocent children enjoy a wonderful protection from the angels. Innocence attracts them, and sin drives them away, as smoke drives away bees. We cannot expect our guardian angels to take care of us when we are doing what we know is displeasing to God. We must also beg for the aid of our guardian angel; we must congratulate him on his faithfulness to God; we must salute him when we go out and when we come in; we must thank him for all his benefits. We must say with Tobias, "What can be worthy of his benefits, and what can we give him sufficient for these things?" (Tob. xii. 3.) The Church honors our guardian angels on the second of October ; in some places on the first Sunday in September.
Prayer to Our Guardian Angel.
Holy angel, guardian mine,
Given me by love divine;
Day and night watch over me,
From harm, from sin, let me be free.
By a pious life I fain
Would eternal joys attain.
You have a guardian angel. Befriend him.
Here’s just some rough ideas to help you cultivate friendship with your own angel,
- When you meet people, send your angel to greet theirs.
- When you have questions about God and life, ask your angel.
- When you want to know a saint or angel in Heaven, ask your angel because he knows everyone there.
- When you have a good thought, talk about it with your angel.
- When you have bad thoughts, refer it to your angel and ask for his help.
Our Lord says of our guardian angels, " I say to you, that their angels always behold the face of My Father Who is in heaven."
About those angels at the tomb...
Would that our guardian angel could say the same of us, when the devil, after Easter, thinks to find us still sleeping in the sepulchre of sin. "You seek the living with the dead, the converted with the sinners ; he is not here."
Our angel guardian, and the angels whom we have specially honored on earth, will take up our cause in purgatory.

Nacht der Amazonen - The pantsuit revolution of the German Amazon Synod BFP 15.2
Wednesday Oct 02, 2019

Nacht der Amazonen - The Pantsuit Revolution of the German Amazon Synod
Truth is stranger than fiction and I’m going to make you question what is really happening in the Amazon Synod, just 5 days away.
We need to go back to ancient history and the origin of the Amazon.
The daughter of Aries, the Greek god of war, became the queen of the Amazonians, a tribe of warrior women whose trail of destruction stretched from libya all the way across to the Caucasian steppes. They founded 7 cities, and built 5 or so temples to Artemis and Ares, known as Amazonium. They were fierce and regarded throughout the ancient world, and their queen had even participated on the losing side of the trojan war.
St. John the Evangelist was exiled to the isle of Patmos. Patmos is about twice the size of Key West, about 17 square miles. The name “Patmos” literally translates as “my killing.: It was here that a small sprawling Roman city had been flourishing since around 400 B.C. as the city served a temple of Artemis, one of the Amazonium. St. John was there right in the midst of the Amazonian legacy. The Amazons themselves had built the temple to Artemis.
St. John, in the midst of this Amazonian environment, would receive the visions of the final battle and revelation of all history that now form the Book of Apocalypse in our bible.
Yesterday, proof that the Rhine flows into the Amazon came in the form of an interview published by German church backed Adveniat agency. Advent is a relief group that sponsors help to Latin America. Adveniat has been a source of money and logistics to prepare and propel the Amazon Synod. In their journal, Blickpunkt Lateinamerika, (Focus or Spotlight Latin America), they published an interview with Bishop Erwin Kräutler, retured bishop of Xingu Brazil. Kräutler has been a key synod preparer since he met with Pope Francis about the idea in 2014. Some say he is the author of the working document itself as well.
So this is the guy who has been the proponent and the mastermind of the Synod.
Among other things, Kräutler claims that Pope St. John Paul II’s declaration in the 1994 apostolic letter Ordinatio Sacerdotalis that the Church is unable and lacks authority whatsoever to ordain women is “not a dogma.” He then questions who can be ordained. He flat out states that the synod must approve the ordination of women to the diaconate.
This is the German at the tip of the spear, and he’s the Blickpunkt of the German church’s demands on the Synod.
Consider again that the working document of the Synod has several questions at the end, the last of which asks,
“What contributions could the communications media make towards building a Church with an Amazonian face?” and “In what ways can consecrated life and its charisms contribute to the building up of a Church with an Amazonian face?”
“Along these lines, it is necessary to identify the type of official ministry that can be conferred on women, taking into account the central role which women play today in the Amazonian Church.”
“an urgent need to evaluate and rethink the ministries that today are required to respond to the objectives of “a Church with an Amazonian face and a Church with a native face”
We are told that these indigenous peoples have much to teach us western minds, and that we should learn from them. The Church must have an amazonian face, they say, and Bishop Kräutler wants the “pastoral agents” to be women.
Let’s explore the indigenous Amazonian Face, shall we?
When the Spanish explorers entered the Amazon basin, they encountered numerous fierce and pitched battles with women warrior tribes. It was Francisco de Orellana who said these must be like the Amazons of Greek history. It was de Orellana’s observation that gave the Amazon it’s name.
In other words, the Amazon was named Amazon by the Spanish and it is the same name that the Greeks gave to the Warrior women descended of Aries, the god of war.
Etymologically, Amazon in greek means without a breast. Some say that Amazonians cauterized the right breast of their young women so that they could better wield javelins and bows for war. Metaphorically, of course, the Greek name implies a woman who cannot nurture.
Other greek phrases describing the Amazonians include:
- “man slayers”
- “destroyers of men”
- “equivalent to men”
- “those who loathe all men”
- “the unwed, flesh-devouring Amazonians”
There are a million other legends, historical accounts, and myths surrounding the Amzonians. These, however, suffice to get the point across - they were man hating warring women.
The real kicker in this is that the Greeks describe them as wearing pantsuits and trousers. An example of this is a greek vase from 470 BC:
It gets stranger though. Most of Europe had long forgotten the Amazonians, but it was Germany in the 19th century that began to depict them again in art. Fascination over the Amazonians spread throughout Germany. Franz Stuck, a Munich based artist, propelled popularity of the Amazonians with his works beginning around 1900.
In Nazi Germany open air events called "Nacht der Amazonen" (Night of the Amazons) were performed at Nymphenburg Palace in Munich between 1936 and 1939. These revues with bare-breasted girls presented an allegedly emancipated female role as part of the "new race" intended to be realized by racial fanatics.
I don’t know if you catch what’s happening here, but it seems that Germany wished to repeat the Nacht der Amazonen in the Church, with indigenous peoples as thier human shield, and you as the target.
The pantsuits are marching to the beat of a German drum and seeking to put an emancipated “Amazonian face” on the Church.
This Trojan war has been fought and won before.
What can we do about it? Pray your Rosary. The Rosary is the weapon Our Lady advises. Cardinals Mueller and Burke and Bishop Schneider have asked us to pray the rosary daily for a defeat of the problems.
October is the month of the Rosary. in 1960, Our Lady stopped a communist invasion in Latin America by the people praying their rosaries. We can stop anything, even invasion of the Amazonians with the same!
Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us!

St. Francis de Sales in Introduction to the devout Life”. Make yourself familiar with the angels, and behold them frequently in spirit; for, without being seen, they are present with you.
Today, on the feast of the archangels, Pope Francis unveiled a new Sculpture titled “Angels Unawares”.... it is for the “World Day for Migrants and refugees”. The sculpture was made by Canadian Timothy Schmalz.
- twitter reactions kept repeating that the predominantly white European looking figures in the sculpture don’t look like migrants today.
The Pope has continued the revolution of Cardinal de Aviz, who said certain ways of praying and dress must cease”. This week leading up to the Amazon Synod saw Pope Francis make comments about cassocks and “Saturnos”
- on cassocks, Pope Francis remarked that behind a young priest wearing a black cassock are “moral issues”
- The pope was photographed wearing his white cassock as he said this.
Twitter and other social media has been lit up with pictures of Saturnos and priests posting pictures wearing them.
St. Ambrose wrote in his monograph on Clergy practices that “nothing artificial is really pleasing.”
Mature Catholics are Always shoved into a ghetto.
Fr. Paul Quay SJ made this observation in Mystery Hidden in Good for All Ages. Catholics that reach a certain spiritual maturity are shoved into a ghetto, even by other Catholics that are still compromising with the world. People know these mature people are different.
Contrast the writings of Leo XIII, John Paul II, Pius X never alienated. Pope Francis is different because he does.
Fr. Rutler’s article on “how to write your own encyclicals”
Pope Francis likens a young priest who wants to wear a cassock and Saturno as a “woman priest”… Think of that… besides insults and alienating young priest, it is a joke about women priests just before the Amazon Synod
USCCB CNS REPORTS ON “certain ways of praying and dress”
in Eco-spirituality and Gun Control!
Catholic News Service (operated by the USCCB) had a busy week. They highlighted a nun in Seattle, Dominican Sister Judy Byron who is the director of the “Northwest Coalition for Responsible Investment.” She is using institutional funds as a weapon to force investors to drop gun manufacturers and seeks to end gun ownership.
- great use of the consecrated life, correct?
- Does she wear a habit? remember de Aviz and the revolution… praying and wearing habits must cease...
“Faith Leaders” in a field
Mercy Sisters Touting the Revolution
CNS also reported a story by Florida Catholic that showed three mercy sisters holding signs on a street “Mercy for Earth” — their message, “Our planet and impacted communities are crying out, and as people of faith, we must demand an end to the age of fossil fuels and encourage our leaders to adopt practical solutions to begin healing earth.”
- “People of faith”
- “Healing our earth”.
- “Impacted communities”
Any guess whether these sisters are wearing habits?
Hint: the revolution requires that we end “certain ways of prayer and dress.”
Bill Donohue of Catholic League thinks Sexual Misconduct in Seminaries is Rare
On the heels of the crisis in Buffalo diocese, Bill Donahue of the Catholic League announced that the so-called Norte Dame study is correct and sexual misconduct in seminaries is very rare.
- perhaps but unlikely.
- Recall the witness account given in the book “God Fearing Souls” by Tony Ghepardo — it was rampant at the pontifical seminary Josephinum in the mid-90s when Cupich was rector.
Amazon Synod begins this week (Oct 6).
The working document contains several issues:
- Cardinal Mueller states:
- “A worldview with its myths and the magical ritual of Mother Nature, or of her sacrifices to the gods and spirits that cause us great fear, or that seduce us with false promises, cannot be an adequate approach to the coming of the Triune God in His Word and in His Holy Spirit,”
- an ideological vision that has nothing to do with Christianity.”
- MY OPINION: this is a punch towards the “local community” worldwide everybody had a local tradition and there’s nothing the same anywhere and all heterodoxy is merely a function of cultural difference
The Working document has terrible Flesch readability scores. some sections as low as 9. Flesch readability began as a study to create an objective way to determine problematic jargon. Flesh studied business communications prior to the Great Depression and determined that all companies that knew of problems and failed had communications with readability scores 20 and below. Companies that survived and did well had communications with readability scores over 40. Some sections and Pope Francis’s hopes mentioned.
Highlighted phrases:
Pre-Columbian cultures worshipped the sun and sacrificed children and ripped people’s hearts out to make sure the sun would keep coming up. If they didn’t worship the Sun, they worshipped demons, such as the winged serpent.
Nevertheless, the document wants them to “evangelize us” ?!
Pre-Columbian cultures offered the Christianity of the Iberian Peninsula, brought by the conquistadors, multiple bridges and points-of-contact, “such as an openness to God’s activity; a sense of gratitude for the fruits of the earth, the sacredness of human life, and an appreciation of the family; a sense of solidarity and co-responsibility in joint efforts; the importance of worship; and the belief in life beyond the grave, as well as so many other values”
Pope Francis pointed out that “we need to let ourselves be evangelized by them” and by their cultures, and that the new evangelization implies “lending our voice to their causes, but also [we are called] to be their friends, to listen to them, to speak for them, and to embrace the mysterious wisdom which God wishes to share with us through them”
Some other linguistic analysis includes repeated mentions of “integral ecology” in the working document. And 13 mentions of the phrase “with an Amazonian face.”
Cardinal Burke’s criticism has drawn the criticism of hyper-popaloters who demand that Burke make a “profession of faith in the pope” and claim that Burke is in formal schism...
This week saw the crooks of climate change use the 16-year-old Greta Thunberg as a human shield. It appears that progressives are using the Amazon natives as a human shield for the marxist-leninist revolution afoot.
At least one goal appears to be to create a hyper-local tradition globally. Small faith communities. Local communities as a way to make a disintegrated and disjointed faith worldwide, one that is broken into tine pieces with no continuity. The American experiment on a global scale it seems.
Solzhenitsyn made a comment that being quiet in the face of evildoing is “Ripping the foundations of justice out for future generations.”
Nassim Nicholas Taleb writes in “Antifragile” that if you do not call out fraud when you see, then you are committing fraud.
Pope Francis snubs converts.
Earlier this week, Pope Francis was greeted by a young lady who converted some friends to Catholicism. Pope Francis was not amused.
Here’s what a real convert can do: Anglican Frederick Faber converted to Catholicism. In his Hymn to My Guardian Angel, he wrote:
Dear Angel! Ever at my side,
How loving must thou be
To leave thy home in Heaven to guard
A guilty wretch like me.
Did I mention that Cardinal Braz de Aviz is one fo the Cardinals appointed by Pope Francis to run the Synod?
Yes, the leader of the revolution against prayer and traditional religious attire...
